NCC Ventures Lab is a service arm of Norwalk Community College. It is in business to offer web design and graphic design services to local small businesses, home offices and non-profit organizations. Its mission is simple: it has been created to help "level the playing field" for those businesses that might not otherwise be able to enter the new world of e-commerce.

NCC Ventures Lab is not in competition with area consultants, web design or graphic design firms. It is targeting only those potential clients whose business may be too small to be bid on by local design firms.

NCC Ventures Lab is staffed by student interns working under faculty supervision. The interns have taken Web Developer, Java programming and Graphic Design courses and are familiar with software programs produced by Adobe, Macromedia and Microsoft. They are organized into teams for each client, and one of them is made project manager to coordinate and oversee their combined efforts.

NCC Ventures Lab offers the most up-to-date web design packages and it has its own facilities. These have been specifically designed to allow our student interns the broadest possible support for constructing websites. Our lab has licensed all of the most recently upgraded software programs to ensure that our work is on the cutting edge of web design technology.
